From a young age, I knew I wanted to have a career with horses. It all started when I got lessons once a week for two summers at a barn in Jersey Shore PA. Then I ended up getting a wonderful 16 year old Quarter horse/Appaloosa cross named Cody who quickly became my best friend. We rode everywhere and did everything, from trails to jumping. I was hooked! Then we ended up with a 2 year old Quarter Horse filly. Not knowing what I was doing, I read every book and watched every video I could get my hands on and started to work with her. Each accomplishment built up to the day I sat on her for the first time and I knew then there was no turning back. In an effort to learn more, I became a working student for a local barn in Trout Run PA, cleaning stalls and spending long hours at the barn for some lessons. Always wanting more, I also began being a working student for a friend of mine Deborah Lecce in Canton. When I wasn't in school or taking care of my own horses, I was at whatever barn I could get to so I could learn anything and everything. I was also lucky enough to be able to go to some shows with both barns which just strengthened the desire to turn this great sport into a career.

Upon graduating high school, I continued on to Meredith Manor International Equestrian Center. There I rode hunter/jumper/dressage horses, took almost every single training class available, studied Equine Sports Massage Therapy, and was a barn manager for several quarters. I graduated a Riding Master III with honors and a certified trainer.

It's been almost two years since I graduated. I have worked at barns in Pennsylvania, New York, and Virginia as a trainer/instructor/barn manager and continued to broaden my horizons and become a well rounded equestrian. As of summer 2014, I branched out to build my own business. As of January 2016, I will be providing lessons and training at homes and barns in the twin tiers area. The ringing in of the new year has brought new opportunities to grow and expand, and with each passing day I look forward to sharing with everyone the next big step on this adventure.
